My first impressions of this beautiful grinder are that it’s very special, I keep going back and choosing this grinder over and over because it is truly a joy to use! The magnets are close to perfect, holding all of the three pieces together very firmly, and securely which is amazing when you’re walking around with this in a bag or a pocket, it will definitely stay together. Not only that, but when you want to put the pieces back together, they quickly and easily snap back together with a strong magnet force. There is no fumbling around with this very functional grinder, it was designed extremely well and you can tell. The entire herb grinding chamber is available for use with this herb grinder, you can feel free to load right in the center and the great design makes sure that you’re not squishing the herb, and that it doesn’t get caught in between the magnets. The herb comes out with a good deal of volume, almost like kinetic sand which I really like. Overall, this beautiful grinder is very close to perfect and may come in a close second to the Pebble pocket grinder I also reviewed very favorably. It turns out that this herb grinder is more of a stay at home herb grinder than a pocket herb grinder because of its weight. Being a stainless steel grinder, it’s actually quite heavy for a two piece herb grinder so you may not want to venture out with this beast in your pocket. I found that this herb grinder was extremely easy to use due to its super sharp diamond teeth. This Hemp Herb Grinder by Staze is a very nice and inexpensive pocket companion! This Pocket Herb Grinder is made of 100% Hemp that is Biodegradable which is pretty cool and environmentally friendly. Now you can grind up your precious herb with a grinder made of Herb! What a time to be alive! The actual grinding done with this little Herb grinder was wonderful, easily processing the gram or so nugget that I put in the grind chamber. Definitely remember to bring your grinder brush with you whenever you use this Hemp Herb Grinder because the hemp material that the grinder is made from clings to the ground up Herb quite a bit more than a metal Herb grinder and even after shaking and tapping I still needed to brush out the rest of the herb from between the grinder teeth. One complaint that I have is that there is no magnet at all to secure the top and bottom segments and they come apart freely. If it’s in your pocket the herb grinder will probably not come apart, but in a bag it will likely separate and you’ll have to go Hunting for both pieces. I recommend a simple solution of using a small rubber band to keep the grinder closed and keep both segments from separating during your day. The blades are razor sharp just like its grinder daddy that I reviewed in the large grinder and Extra Medium herb grinder section, so they cut and chop rather than mash and smash. You can easily get the right consistency for your herb grind simply by continuing to grind until desired texture is realized. This is truly a must have in the pocket herb grinder category and it’s great for festivals, hikes, and day outings. Make sure you bring a small herb tray with you to pour your herb onto and also be sure to use a grinder brush each time to clean the blades and chamber. This little American made aluminum herb grinder is one of the best prices of any herb grinder I’ve come across, especially considering the great grinder plate design they have that really grinds the herb evenly and easily. The magnet does its job, but I think it could be a little bit stronger especially for a pocket grinder because you really don’t want it to be coming apart while you’re walking If it’s in your pocket or bag. The herb grinder is so lightweight and its size is indeed perfect for most pockets so this little piece could be a wonderful companion on your next hike or day trip. This 4 piece pocket herb grinder measures only about one inch across and is roughly 3.5in tall. It’s CNC’d from a solid block of 6061 Aluminum and it has everything you want in an herb grinder but presented in a tiny package. The first time I used this one, I felt like - wow - the grinding teeth are so small I wondered if they could do the job. I found out quick that as long as you don’t overload this pocket herb grinder it will grind up your herb just right, and it’s got a nice size storage container in its modular design. Speaking of modular, you can rearrange the pieces and end up with a sweet little stash container If you wanted. One thing that I don’t like much about this pocket herb grinder is the thread lock closing system. The threads are very fine and it takes several turns to properly close the herb grinder modular pieces together. Keeping in mind that you won’t be using this one as your daily herb grinder, but mostly at events and places away from your primary smoke spot, I think it’s fair to say that I can get over the thread lock issues I have and still grade this grinder positively. If you are a true 4 piece herb grinder lover then you’ve got to have one of these for when you’re on the go. It definitely will do the job and won’t let you down.

I am not happy with this herb grinder at all because the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold the top on securely, it’s a very weak force that doesn’t do that job. I wanted to like this pocket herb grinder because it’s a great small size for travel days, but with an aluminum design AND a very weak magnet, this one can’t be recommended. German Engineering has a great reputation for high levels of quality, and I was definitely hoping to see that reflected in this German Herb Grinder. Compared to the competition, this herb grinder doesn’t measure up unfortunately especially when considering the cost. I do like that it’s an all magnetic design, but unlike other magnet designs that I really like, this one forces you to line up the pieces just right for them to go back together, it’s a bit clumsy and I don’t like that very much. The grinder plate easily gets Herb squished between the lid and the grinder plate because you can’t use the entire area for herb, and since it’s so small, that’s really hard to make sure you don’t get Herb squished. As far as grinding goes, it did a basic job of grinding up the herb, but I wasn’t super impressed with the consistency of the herb after the grind was compete. In my opinion, there are better quality grinders for better prices than this herb grinder from Germany.
